Owned and operated by Duane and Lynda Remmers, who have been in the sewing business since 1989, the store offers two convenient locations
(Woodstock and Carpentersville, IL) in the Chicago northwest suburbs, where you'll find one of the largest sewing and embroidery thread selections around, along with the fabrics, notions, embroidery supplies, and quilting accessories needed to complete any size project.
If your machine needs a little TLC, the qualified technicians here at Sewing Concepts service most sewing machine makes and models, from tune-ups to full repairs. We also offer fun, informative sewing and embroidery classes for beginners to seasoned experts. Our classes are designed to help you improve your skills, learn new techniques, and spark your creativity. Most project lessons are taught during half or full day sessions by staff pros, with occasional guest instructors who are experts in the sewing or quilting industry.
