Beginning Sewing MCC - Woodstock

Beginning Sewing is taught by Gail at Sewing Concepts in Woodstock, but you register for this class through MCC. The class is held in our store. Class fee to MCC is $79.00, course # is 4519.

Learn basic sewing skills and gain confidence while making three
fun projects. These projects include a Decorative Pin Cushion
where you’ll learn the utility and decorative functions of the sewing
machine, basic sewing techniques, and cutting and measuring
techniques; Inside-Out Pillowcase where you’ll practice rotary
cutting skills, basic and French seams, and pressing techniques;
and a Table Runner where you’ll use fusible stabilizers, topstitching,
and seam finishes. Supplies, fabric, notions, and patterns are not
included in the class fee, but are available for purchase at the first
class. Your costs will vary based on fabrics and supplies chosen.
Each student receives a 15% discount on supplies purchased at
Sewing Concepts. Sewing machines will be provided! Sewing
Concepts is located on the square in downtown Woodstock.
