Feathered Star EmbroidABlock 2013
This year the Hoopsisters have out done themselves with the Feathered Star! There are many different stars made of
embroidery only, 4 squares to make a star, or 9 squares to make a star. There is also ½ square triangle blocks with quilting that
is so beautiful all by themselves you may want to just use those for a project.

Protecting Your Quilts and More
Taught By: Sandy Schweitzer AQS Certified Quilt Appraiser
Sandy is a well known local quilt appraiser. She has written a book entitled Protecting
Your Quilts & More. Her lecture will be on just that! How to care for your quilts, label
your quilts, quilt repair, when to have your quilt appraised. She will have a small trunk
show to illustrate these topics. Sandy recommends having at least one of your quilts
appraised. You will be amazed at the value of them! Lecture fee will included a copy of
Sandy's book. Appraisal are by appointment the next day.
