Join Sewing Concepts and Geri McRoy in our 3 part series for Long Arm Quilting.
Geri has been long arm quilting for many years, and taken many classes from master
quilters. She will teach us the secrets of long arm quilting.
These classes are VERY limited. We have space for 4 people in each session. We want to
make sure that each person has time and space to use the TIn Lizzie.
Session 1
The Basics!
Geri will cover some basics of Long Arm Quilting. Each student will go home with 2 of her
favorite rulers and the knowledge to use them with your machine. Also a sample of the
machine stitching they learned.
Session 2
Pantograph's!
What do we do with those little rolls of paper that comes with your machine? Learn how to
set up the quilt, and how to space the pantographs while using the laser light. Each
student will go home with a sample of the stitching, plus a new pantograph to play with.
Session 3
Marking the Quilt Top!
Are you ready for a little custom quilting? Geri will take you thru marking the quilt top. Get
GREAT ideas on how to quilt you top with more then stipple of pantograph's. This class
includes a small quilt top and stencils with marking pens.
Because of the very limited seating for the three classes, each student will get loads of
attention. Geri is a very patient and creative teacher and is very sharing of her knowledge.
Each session will cost $150, and will include several items listed to take home with you, the
fabrics, thread, and use of our machine.
