Skills & Thrills Carpentersville

Taught by Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor Marie McKay! This year we’re going to take the skills we learned last year in Tucker University one step further.  We will be making entire quilts.  The monthly series will cover how to use Studio 180 Design (Deb Tucker) tools necessary to complete the project selected for that session.  This way you can either review how to use the tool, or you can learn it for the first time. YES! FIRST TIMERS ARE WELCOME.

Studio 180 Design tools use the slightly oversize/trim down approach to making units that can be used in constructing blocks that can be used in making quilt tops.  They can be used on any of your quilt projects that require some of the typically used units, like half square triangles or flying geese.  They are designed to help you achieve success and satisfaction with your projects by making blocks that are the right size and not wonky.
