Great fun for the summer & learn the basic skills of sewing with Michelle. Some of the techniques you will be learning are cutting, sewing a straight seam with different widths, inserting a zipper, top stitching, & much more. You will be making a pillowcase, rail fence pillow, & a runaround bag.

Tucker Trimmer I This month?s class will feature the Tucker Trimmer - this can be a new learning opportunity or a refresher for those who already have this tool. You?ll master making a variety of basic triangle units that will fit precisely with more advanced units. Remember ? you need to use the techniques and tools so you don?t lose what you?ve already learned. This will give you the technique to complete a variety of triangle units that are used in many other quilt patterns. A sample of the units we?ll be working on is on display in Woodstock.

Now?s the time to move from Practice to Perfection ?. Ready for our fourth class? Wing Clipper I This month?s class will feature the Wing Clipper I ? this will be a new learning opportunity. You?ll be able to make Flying Geese units as small as 1 by 1 1/2 inches up to 5 by 10 inches with this awesome tool. Remember ? you need to use the techniques and tools so you don?t lose what you?ve already learned. You?ll learn the simple secrets to creating crisp, clean flying geese effectively & quickly. Since you usually have to make hundreds of units at a time, why not make them perfect every time? We?ll also highlight a new design sheet called Pickets and Wickets ? you?d be surprised how often these are used in borders too.
